We're not halfway around the world! You were firing a long range shot at those that ARE halfway around the world! Oh, wait a minute, we have some career firefighters as well...

Never see us grouped at a pizza shop. The local Subway, yes - we've disturbed their peace a few time when all pagers went off. (The 50% discount makes it a popular place for local police and emergency services :D )

Seeing a sight like that would result in a polite message to the business owner I think.

Lutan, I figured you weren't saying that the career guys were in there doing something like a building familiarization tour, pre-planning or code enforcement... oh thats right we just sit around and do nothing. ;-)

I would contact the local Fire Marshal. The Fire Marshal may be able to issue a citation to the owner of the business for blocking a means of egress. I tell owners I don't care who you lock out, you just can't lock anyone in!
