Don't have anything on "power point" but Bullard makes a disk that has their training program on it for their camera's and it even has a test at the end....might want to try and contact them....I have a copy at the Firehouse but nothing here at home.......Paul

This link has a downloadable power point on TIC's. You might check it out. You might also try www.fire.gov. They have a lot of free and useful training aids.

Thanks, I have emailed Bullard,MSA and Scott to see what I can get, thr problem is I have to have a premade powerpoint because its only instructor 1 so we cant make our own. Thanks for the info though.

I have to really question this post at all. Part of the instructor programs is to teach you to put your classes together. Why would they tell you that you cannot make your own powerpoint? That is the bulk of what we had to do in instructor class. Powerpoint is a huge, overused, part of all instruction.

It might have been a misunderstanding on my part but I was under the understanding as an instructor 1 you had to teach already prepared subjects and powerpoints, its not till you get into the 2/3 class that you start setting up the things to teach, including test and other things. Like I said it might be my misunderstanding of it.

You may be right. Here in Ohio, there is only one level of instructor. You have to be able to do it all.

This is the way it is in Oklahoma also. Instructor I you teach materials that are given to you, Instructor II you develop your own program.

I took a Hybrid one and two class and we were required to make our own presentations, test, and evals. This should be more of a test of your knowledge of the tools to build a presentation and deliver the information to a group and have the group comprehend and retain the information.

I would check the skill sheets for instructor 1 and get some clarification.
