Children Rescued in Rhode Island House Fire
SCITUATE, R.I. - Investigators are probing the cause of a blaze that trapped two children in a Scituate home until firefighters rescued them.
The flames prevented the escape of a 15-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl until firefighters led them to safety late Thursday afternoon.
Scituate Police Lt. Craig Hawkins said Friday that the cause of the blaze had not been determined.
