Firefighter Jeopardy, that is. The rules are simple, someone post the answer, then the next person to come along posts the actual answer in the form of a question. That same person who answers in the form of a question is to then post the answer for the next person to come along. Keep it firefighter related, try your hardest not to cheat(i.e. Google, Bing, Ask, you firefighter literature)... I mean, this is an honorable profession, right?

We'll start out simple.

Never heard of it, I will look it up for sure.

Now answer the next question.....LOL
Is there a time limit in place to answer the questions?
Seems like nobody will answer the Q*Q/5 hydraulic equation.
Maybe J Brooks can answer it for us? Then maybe give another one?
First time seeing FFN jeopardy. I think it's an excellent idea.
This is the street hydraulic equation for figuring out friction loss for 1 3/4" hose. Where Q is the GPM being flowed, and dropping the last number. Example: 125 gpm, Q=12. (12*12)/5=FL per 100 feet of hose.

144/5
approximately 29 psi per 100 feet of hose at 125gpm.

We use Q-10 for 2 1/2" hose also.

Answer:

I am just kinda guessin what you want here
I knew it was a friction loss formula, but for which size hose I had no clue.
