How many trucks do you have???
Ok on our department we have a total of six trucks 1 gras truck,1 grass truck with utility box, 1 750 gallon pumper, 1 2500 pumper tanker, 1 2000 gallon tanker, and 1 3500 galllon vaccum tanker. We cover 36 square miles,we have two stations. How many trucks does your separtment have and what?? I love pictures!!!

A typical Colorado district covering 58 sq mi of mostly mountainous terrain, from 4 stations:
2 - Type 1X Engines (4wd structural engines w/ crew of 5)
1 - Type 2x Engine (4wd structural engine w/ crew of 3)
2 - Type 3x Engines (military 2.5 ton converted by state of Colorado to carry 800 gal water, class a foam and 100 gpm pump)
3 - Type 6x Engines (4wd mini-pumpers)
1 - Type 1 tender (3000 gal tanker, Detroit 8V92 in Kenworth Chassis)
1 - Heavy Rescue-like truck (scaled down to a 1 ton crew-cab chassis).
3 - Medic (Ambulance) Units (1 ea Type 1, Type 2 and Type 3, all 4wd)

3 Engines; E70 Ford F-700 built by Deep South trucks, E71 2000 Kenworth built by KME, the newest one E72 2009 Kenworth built by Southern Fire

1 Rescue; R7 2005 Ford F-550
So Station 7 has 7 trucks

8 trucks... 2 engines, one rescue, two tankers, brush truck, squad vehicle, and chief's/command vehicle...

We have 8 peices of equipment and 2 stations, are district is relativelly small but our response area covers about 80 miles of interstate and highway, and approx. 120 or so square miles.
1 Command Vehicle
1 Type 1 Cafs Pumper (2000 Gals)
1 Type 3 Cafs Brush Engine (500 Gals)
1 Type 5 Cafs Brush Engine (500 Gals)
2 Type 6 Cafs Brush Engines (300, 220 Gals)
2 Water Tenders (2200, 5000 Gals)

We have three, two engines and a brush truck 1000 gal, 1500 gal, and 300 gal on the brush unit. We cover about 2 square miles ( two subdivisions) right now we are trying to expand our district to cover a 5 mile radious around our station. We are a newly formed Fire Dist. within our county.
