Okay many departments use mascots. We don't but I'm curious to what yours is. Secondly, what is the name of your high school mascot. No selecting your rival towns mascot either, only yours. Ours here in Brush, made ESPN as one of the oddest mascots in the nation, we are called the "Beetdiggers." Now top that. One more thing, we are the original Beetdiggers, not like another school who tried to take our name.
Here's the link to our home page to see the picture of the mascot.
Well, the department I do work for has no mascot. Whenever the little kids come to the station, though, they expect to see dalmatians running all over the place. It is fun seeing them.
I had a few mascots in high school. I went to three different schools. Luckily, my Senior year, I was at one. I had a wildcat as my first Sophomore mascot. I transferred schools about two thirds into the year, and became a Lion. I moved halfway through my Junior year, and became a Don. He was my favorite mascot, probably because it was for Senior year, though.
Our school mascot is the Red Devil. We have a devil face on our patch & on our t-shirt to show our pride. We attend almost all sporting events at the school, really good P.R.
The only school in our district is an EL school. It used to be the Davis High School and there football team was the Yellowjackets. So our trucks well some say its a shade of green some say yellow...I think the name is Duke Lafrance Green.
