The greatest American tragedy is about to grab another victim. John McNamara, one of 40,000+ people who went to help at Ground Zero and became part of the “911 First Responders” group. John has been given “Last Rites”.
I will never ever, ever, ever, ever, make like I could even begin to understand the suffering these brave men and women who answered the call for help have had to endure for almost eight years. Most lost everything – jobs, homes, possessions, good health, etc. For some, the pain became so unbearable that they took their own lives. Yet we as Americans have truly turned our backs on them by not forcing our government to live up to the promises they made on our behalf to take care of their medical coverage and basic rights any disable person is entitled to.
Join me, John Feal and 911 First Responders and friends in praying the
“Lord’s Prayer” today at 3PM EST.
Please post your wishes for John McNamara, his family and all 911 First Responders in the comments section below.
If you ask does prayer work, remember what Jesus said:
“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.”
Matthew 6: 6-13
To my hero John Feal – I know how much John’s plight and all the plights hurt you. Just know that the living loving God of the universe feels your hurt and loves us all with a compassion we couldn’t begin to measure even though there are times we doubt that very much. For what it’s worth – I Love You!!!!!

I have keeped you in my prayers John I believe in God’s word and his Power.I am at a loss of words to hear this news about you.When we last talked on the phone you sounded so strong Brother you are a good friend to have and to know.To the Mcnamara Family I know it’s been rough and it has put you through a living Hell.I can say this from first hand knowledge I had Cancer and John contatced me through the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.It was great talking with him and hearing him tell funny things about his surgeries as well as I told him mine.I didn’t know him like other’s on here but I can only wish I had known him more.I said this to John in one of our talks and I hope that it helps you all.God’s timing is not in man’s time, But it is in his time and He’s Always On time Hold the Faith That a miracle still Can Happen.God Bless the Mcnamara’s I love you Brother!!!!!
