crazy runs

anybody had any crazy runs lately.

I have nothing against the PD but I think they should only be on a fire scene for crowd and traffic control. We don't pull people over or respond on burgler alarms and they have no business going into a fire. They risk becoming a victim when there may not have been any to begin with.

we had a suicide attempt yesterday a guy with a box knife.cut his atery in the bend of his arm.we arrived on scene and police dept. had his finger stuck in the hole holding pressure.he saved this guys life.the guy had tried this several times before he had 7 scars on his other arm.another few minutes he would have been gone.his girlfriend found in time to get help.

Animal story.
Call for stranded cow in field. It was during a heavy rain storm when one cow decided to go her own direction and not fallow the others and got herself stranded on an "island". We used our zodiak to get there. Took 6 people to get her to a shallow area where she was put into the bucket of a front-end-loader and carried out. All ended well. There was no way I was gonna miss this call. :) Good water trainig though.
