It is with deep regret that we advise you of the Line of Duty Death of LODD of Delaware Township (Defiance County) Firefighter Conrad Mansfield. Initial reports are that Firefighter Mansfield was attending a pump training class at the department on the night of Wed. June 10th when he collapsed, was subsequently transported to Defiance Hospital and later was flown out to Toledo. It appears his death, that occurred this morning, was due to a stroke. Firefighter Mansfield, who was 45 years old had 25 years of service with the department and leaves behind a wife. Our sincere condolences to all affected.
