I was wondering on what the deal is with pagers. I don't understand what the VHF and UHF is and what can and can't be programed. Will someone explain how the whole thing works. Thanks

All I can tell you is that VHF stands for "Very High Frequency" and covers 30MHz - 300MHz. UHF stands for "Ultra High Frequency" and covers 300MHz - 3000MHz. Your F.D's dispatch frequency will fall somewhere in one of these ranges. Good luck and stay safe!
Thanks
Torrey, why are you wondering about pagers? Pagers, radios and communication equipment will be issued you When your ready to have one and they provide it to you. Dont stress the little stuff Ladd. Just focus on doing the basics and you'll go somewhere.
All it is is different bands of frequencies where your pager will or wont pick up....Really thats not important to you because when you need a pager they will give you he right one
