Help A Girl Out?

I(as a new firefighter) was just wondering about the common misconceptions and most commonly made mistakes in the firefighting field............I'm open for anyones opinion......and welcome all possible comments regarding this topic......................>Cheers<*>Jen<

I'd have to say freelancing is the biggest thing I see and not a full use of the command structure.

If you have a question about how something works, or how your dept does something.... ASK someone. Don't assume you know how to do something. We have a new firefighter that assumes he know everything and how to do everything..... I want to strangle him.

I would agree with "damnthing" here. (as I so often do) Im kinda surprised by the number of female I see with sexy or provocative photos of themselves. I look at it like..."If you want to be taken seriously"....But thats just my opinion.

Im not saying that all females do that...just a thought for those that do.
