I am searching for a Gamewell call box, but the ones on Ebay are not the greatest. Does anybody know a good place, or will I just have to search around local shops and Ebay. Also if anybody specifically knows about the old Washington DC boxes that would be AWSOME!
Thanks everybody, and Stay Safe out there,

You CAN get some good ones on ebay. I bought a totaly reconditioned master box. I spent alot on it...$400.00, but it is in excellent condition. You can spend from about a hundred to average around 200 hundred or so. Here's another place to try: Go to www.youngstownfire.com. They have a whole forum devoted to Gamewell equipment and are very reliable. There is a book by Paul Roncallo that is fairly new about this equipment, and average collector prices. The history of the fire alarm telegraph, or something like that.
I have a couple boxes, gongs and tape registers which all work well. Good luck.
Every April there is a Spring Thaw Fireman's Muster held in Allentown PA which would not be a real long drive from Maryland. On Saturday they have an auction and Sunday they have a flea market type event. there is usually all types of nostalgic items sold there. they are in all conditions from beat up to reconditioned. I will get the dates on it and post back.
