I am on a local junior fire department. We seem to be doing the same training over and over and never have any class training, its always hands on type training. Can some of you firefighters out there help me think of some training i can suggest?

Hazmat and if you have factories then lockout/tagout, bloodborne pathogens, CPR. The list is actually endless. But these are what we have to do once a year and we usually do it in the winter months since we can't do much outside then. I hope this helps ya. Good luck and keep it up. Don't get too discouraged by the hands on stuff. That's what most of us like to do but the classroom stuff can be just as important.
