Ok, so, I've got a Minitor IV pager, the newest version before they switched to the new style V's. I put my pager in the charger, the light comes on, then it starts to blink sporadically and the batteries in my pager don't seem to hold a charge. Now this is the second charger that I've been issued that's done this. Just wondering if anyone else has had any kinds of issues like this, and if so, what can a guy do to avoid this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I think It is the charger-I do the commucations in out Dep-(Still learning ) But I had A min 5 do the same thing-It was the charger-Did try new bat. first didnt help-C if you can borrow a charger and try that
I have a minitor 5 and when I put it on the charger I have to turn it off, put it in, and then turn it back on. If I just put it in the alert light on the charger comes on and the speaker just makes this soft popping sound. Sounds like Motorola has some serious issues they need to check out.
In the town I live in, we only have one place that services our pagers and radios, and I'm pretty they are hosing us on the costs of replacement parts (so it sounds). At our last meeting, our Chief informed us that they are charging us $125 to replace the belt clips on the things.
As for the borrowing a charger, I don't think that's going to helo, as I have said, this is my second one. The first one I had worked fine for about 3 years, then crapped out on me, and this one, I've only had for a few months.
Me thinks that Motorola better get their sh*t together, and in a hurry.
WE have had a few problems with the charger cords on some of our MIN 4's the plugs from the cord that goes into the base gets separated somehow and it gets a bad connection .
I think its just a case of Motorola having too big britches. I am glad we are going to a new pager and supplier. Between our local supplier and Motorola we are getting screwed. Maybe its time we find a new manufacturer of pagers. One that gives a bugger about the products they make and stands behind them. Hum, as a matter of fact we are doing that. By by Motorola. Better go back to your cans and string.
