I always find this a good conversation to get into. It is nice to share experiences with other in the field and maybe get there ideas if something else could have been done.
Nice to know, that i´m writing something that is readable :)
Oddest so far:
2006 i had my smoke diving permission.
Second call after sd-course was house fire in 5 floor residential building. We were second unit on scene, so smoke ventilation from corridor was assingned to us. After fire was put out and most of smoke was ventilated, we started to check residents, who needs medical care for smoke inhalation etc.
First door > no one home
Second door > Middle aged man, starts to sreacm at me about smoke in his appartment.
I said to him: Come out, i will escort you out. He did´nt want to come out.
So i told him to go on balcony to fresh air. He slammed door shut.
We checked rest of that floor and went out. 5min afterwards, this man and his wife comes out, bright red both of them.
Ambulance took them to hospital.
Nothing special in that ?? no, but somehow this aftermath is odd to me:
We sold our house at end of this year summer and got a rental appertment.
Same building, and same appartment that this "friendly" couple were living..
and this smoke ventilation window is still broken way i broke it at 2006..
