LODD or an Injury???

Who from your department would tell your spouse that you were killed or injured at fire incident. Do you have protocals or not?

We have SOP's in place for this. It will be a Chief Officer with the F.D. Chaplain (if possible), in a marked Fire Department vehicle.

We have a well detailed SOG concerning LODD and injuries. It is normally a Chief Officer with the Chaplain and or the Honor Guard Commander.
