Is this a FF movie. he is the Cheif of the fire department. Some of the movie takes place in a firehouse. There is a scene with fire fighting activity. And it's a cool movie.
I've seen it many times. It is a decent and entertaining movie.
He is chief of the Nelson, CO Fire Department.
You realize that it was based on Cyrano De Bergerac?
It's no Backdraft, but I like anything with Steve Martin.
I saw his stand up routine back in the 70s when he was the wild and crazy guy. He come out on stage with bunny ears and an arrow through his head. It was hilarious.
Get Fire Storm with Howie Long. It's pretty cool, too.
TCSS.

Same topic but different movies (2) about firefighting. They are ok for thier time but defiantely don't compare with today's. First one is City on Fire and the other one is The Towering Inferno. Just my two cents worth.
Hey Art, Thought I'd chime in here about Steve, who used to be my neighbor... Had the chance to tour his house in Montecito (as in Tea Fire last week) which was originally built by one of the Eastman Kodak family members. The house is totally fire proof, all concrete and gray, including the interior walls and carpeting. My wife and I were walking past the house and Steve's dad was out front doing gardening. We were invited in for a tour and inside a small no frills or windows room were shelves that had a ton of stuff like banjo's, bunny ears and the a fake arrow through the head... What was funny though was when I mentioned to his dad that I would like to have the chance to meet Steve, I was told that I wouldn't really like him and that he was a complete a**hole. He was also married to Bernadette Peters at the time (young Frankenstein). I never did meet him but I did see Bernadette drive by our house a couple of times... Cheers! Mike
