Hey everyone.

I go for my Michigan Fire II challenge in a couple days and was wondering if anyone knew the specific topics I will be tested on on the written, as well as the two practical stations.

I'm not looking for answers or anything- just an idea of what chapters I should be focusing on.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I am also from Michigan and i proctor the fire fighter test 1 and 2. The weekly tests that you have gotten back study them. They really do give a good idea about the big test. If you know them you should do fine. The practical is just a reverse hose lay and lights and generators. If you know the tests you will do fine. Good luck and stay safe.
I'm from Illinois and took FF2 back in 1994, but we were tested on the whole curiculum, not just certain chapters in the book. I would think if you study your quizzes and tests, you should do fine. Good luck and stay safe!
well said Mike, I'm from Michigan too and I also proctor in the state testing, every area is going to be a little different in their testing, so I'd say ask your instructor this question, maybe he can give you a little insite on the testing, other than that just review everything. Good Luck:)
Thanks for all the replys guys.

I didn't actually take the academy. I'm challenging the tests, so I study on my own and with my department, then go take the test and recieve the certificate.

Thanks again,

Mike
One thing to really look at is the highlighted words in the book. These i was told are the key things on the test. Then know the knots portion and the rest of the hands on test. I have proctored the knots section a couple of years and they really need to hit it harder. The rest of the tests were covered pretty well. So if you need help with more of this send me a message to my site. I will help as much as i can.
I am sorry i for some reason thought you were taking both tests. Just read the hightlighted stuff. The hands on portion is easy pretty self explanatory. Just remember it is a reverse lay or it usually is.
