Dustin - you're in Foothills? I'm across the highway in Genesee. Not sure if we've met but maybe I'll see you on a mutual aid call. I got over that way for a house fire back in late May of this year.

BTW, we have a guy on our department who was a navy helicopter pilot in Antarctica, but that was quite a few years back I think.
Nice. I'm sure we'll cross paths!
I am in Pueblo West with a combination department. Pueblo West Fire Department.
Hey all I live and volunteer here in Sargents which is at the bottom of the west side of Monarch pass. We get all the calls when people wreck on this pass. If you're ever around this way let me know! Great hunting and snowmobiling around here!
Hey all, I'm just an Explorer but I'm up in the Poudre Fire Authority. We cover Fort Collins/Wellington and a couple of other small out of the way towns. If you don't know where that is it's also around Union Colony Fire (Greeley) and the Loveland Fire Protection District (Loveland). We get a number of calls up the Thompson Canyon for accidents. You're almost to Estes Park before Loveland Fire District ends. Anyone ever up this way? (Larimer County)
I live in Broomfiled but work in the ED in South Denver
Checking in from northwest colo.

I'm in High Country Fire Dept. My property is at the north end (south rim of Boulder Canyon). We run south past Blackhawk, surrounding Colorado Sierra (hole in our donut). We run from Wondervu (top of Coal Creek Canyon) to the Continental Divide. Both departments are entirely volunteer. Our Boards are holding a joint meeting next week to finally explore merging. Thirty years ago, somebody's nose got out of joint, and they formed separate departments. Most don't care or remember anymore, and think it's stupid for us to run emergent through their district to respond to the other end of our district. It's is a classic case. Their trucks are red, ours are yellow. Who'll have to change their name? etc.

I don't care if the trucks are polka dotted or whether we call it High Sierra or Colorado Country. We need to combine forces. During the day, during the week, I'm one of about four of us up here. That's a bit tough when you get the tone for a structure fire.

Ain't bureaucracy grand?
I'm in Windsor - basically right between Fort Collins & Greeley.
