your firefighting boots

take the time to look at your boot for holes in bottom and sides if your dept. has the money buy the leather boot like globe makes very nice foot wear. just about it rubber melts at 350 degree.

We have annual inspections of all gear, as well as SOP's in place for reporting faulty gear at any time. Stay safe!

Our department hardly has enough money for the basic gear, and no money for leather boots for all of us. If rubber melts at 350 then you need to keep the water running. I have worn rubber boots for quite some time and i liked them. If they had good tread on the bottom. A couple of guys bought leather boots and did not like them. I have recieved a pair of them and i do like them.
