I have my kids each flick on and off flashlights. One has a red lens, the other the standard clear lens. It is cheap and effective. (this has been beaten to death in past forums, look up Lights under the search bar)
Haha, well that is certainly a cheap, effective yet unorthadox way. But if it gets the job done, it gets the job done, right?
I have a signal interior phantom led bar, a galls dual dash light, whelen strobes in the headlights and back up lights, a speed tech quad stick in the back window, and 2 signal mini phantom max in the side windows
All I have is the Signal Mini-Phantom (split red/white) hanging from my rear-view mirror. Can't see it unless you're looking for it, extremely bright, and does the trick all by itself in my rural run area.
I have Able 2 SHO-ME LED Light Stick.

160 LEDS All red in a 12inch or so long Metal case, the LEDS are 3 High. Has 6 patterns built in, i keep it on random. I put it on my dash and angled it forward. does the trick quite well.
What the . your aloud to have flashing lights in your personal car to respond to calls .
i lost my licence for twelve months over here for going a bit to fast to our station for a callout ........
2federal signal double rotators on the headache rack one with a red lense one with amber (for plowing), whelen dual dash strobe, trucklite led strobes on the rear
i have a mini phantom max it is inexpensive (at least when it come to blue lights) and very effective. Plus the thing i like about it is that it mounts to your reaeview mirror, and you can barely tell it is there. Most lights are very bulky and block alot of your view through the windschield.
www.vehicleledtech.com has some cheap and great led lights
E-913 forgot to add that he uses a megaphone that he points out the window. He can do yelp, wail and air horn, and is working on a fair imitation of the Federal Q - although he does have to watch himself lest he infringes on any Federal patents.
Damn you Joe you are going to get me in trouble. For my Q I holdd a cat by the tail and turn the cat in circles out the window. :)
Hey what are your depts. rules on using your lights, the type of light (dash, lightbar, ect...) and how many?
