If you notice, the attack line is the blue one in the front door. This home was under renovation at the time. There had been a electrical fire the privious afternoon. After waiting for the power to be secured from the pole (fire involoved the drop line from the pole to the panel) A vent hole was made. The fire was put out. After using TIC on all the affected walls and pulling the ceiling around the fire it was determined to not destroy any more home than needed.
This fire started in a wall approximatley 8' from the original and in a different room. It was caused by a spark from the original arcing. I take the blame for a re-kindle(hell one re-knindle in almost 30 years not a bad ratio). But in the spirit of saving the owner hard work and money we decided not to to pull every wall not affected by the original fire. But S--t happens.
As for the PPV, with proper ventilation and atack lines available, an early PPV is very beneficial to the attack. In this case there was already a vent hole in the roof and we were attacking before the PPV wass started. If you notice the Steam coming from the vent in the roof, it is obvious that water is hitting the hotstuff.

Just a question but it appears that all of the attack lines were sitting on the front lawn. If that is the case and they are not actively putting water on the fire why would you even think about using PPV?
