I once had a Captain who would always say, "Never pay attention to how much fire a person tells you that they fight...just look at the way their tools and apparatus are set up and you can tell if they are serious about fighting fire or not." Just by looking at how this Company had their hooks already on their ladders and how their ladders were already ready to deploy tells me all I need to know about that Company. They were effective, fast, safe, and efficient as we all should strive to be. Great Job Durham Truck 1!
