2-2-2 Extra Alarm Fire

Rochester Firefighters responded last night for a house fire on Ackerman St. Quint 7 went on location with heavy fire from a two story. Quint 7 further requested a second alarm. Command reported an exterior attack on the original fire building with an interior attack on the exposure. Truck 4 responded as the RIC while the second alarm companies were Engine 1,13 and Quint & Midi 6. Engine 3 was special called to stage at Quint 7’s quarters. The fire was under control in about one hour and the cause is under investigation.
