Years in Fire/EMS:: I am not in any emergency services. I am an emergency services buff.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I have been a fire buff since I was a small child. I have one of the forms of muscular dystrophy, so I have looked up to firefighters all my life. As I grew up, the buff started to fad away. Then the events of 9/11 occured. It was seeing what the men and women of the FDNY and NYPD went through and what they lost that day reminded me what a dangerous job they have. That is when the buff returned and is now not just about the flashy trucks, its about everything that relates to the fire service,
