About Me:
I am from the province of Newfoundland & Labrador in Canada and I am currently working in the Province of Ontario, Canada.

I am a University graduate. I completed a degree in Business Administration.

At home in Newfoundland & Labrador, I was the Training Officer for my department. Here in Ontario, I am starting to volunteer to help out with some Fire Prevention activities.

I am an active recreational scuba diver and I welcome the opportunity to chat with other divers.

I have volunteered with the Firefighters Combat Challenge in the past.

I like to ski and snowmobile. It's always fun to get a nice clean truck full of mud on a nice summer day too.

I welcome the opportunity to chat with people.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined the fire department to help out and give back to my community. Ever since I joined, I have never looked back. Each call and each training session has been absolutely amazing.

looks like you run...scotts? its kinda hard to tell from the pic.------our neighboring depts run MSA and INERSPIRO, then a few run scotts still. we are the only ones that have isi in the whole county. we used to run scotts and then had rangers.

thi isi's are realy simple. they are basically idiot proof as well. we have viking masks with isi packs. i don't have a pic of a mask right now. there is an automatic pass, so as soon as you turn on the air it comes on the facepiece is all one unit so the resperator is part of the mask there is a lever type thing on it you push down to go on air and have it up for ambient air. then inside just at your cheekbone intop of where the rubber seal that goes around ur mouth and nose, there is 4 lights:green, yellow,orange,red. they tell you a quick status of youraie without looking at the gauge in the pass. we have voice amplified resperators and digital readout for the pass. i will try to post a few better pics. both of the mask and the pack itself so you can see it better
