Why I Joined Fire/EMS

The real question is why didn't I join the fire service sooner? I joined the fire service to make a difference. It started out as one of many ideas I'd had of things to do with my free time after college. I wanted to find a way to help others doing something useful with my time. Little did I know I would fall in love with the job, the bother/sisterhood and everything that makes it what it is. Now I'm looking to make it a career.
