Why I Joined Fire/EMS
In 1992, I was driving by Station #5 in my hometown of Billings, Montana. That's when I realized it -- the 'awe' of the fire engine ended with elementary school. But, it had not for me. That was the beginning of my career in public safety. A true passion. Something I can't describe.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Lights & Sirens coupled with holding the hand if the sick and injured -- A perfect marriage

Hey! I was at the EMS symposium last weekend, and I thought you did a good job on both of your presentations. I must have been listening cause here I am on this website leaving you a message. Also, I totally loved your other presentation about the power of touch, I think often people get to caught up in all the toys and technology to actually give the patient that caring touch that they need to help them feel less nervous and less like just another sick or hut person to us, and more like a human being that we are genuinley trying to hep!
