About Me:: My name is Kayela. I have been a junior firefighter for over three years and just got promoted to firefighter. I am an enlisted soldier in the Idaho Army National Guard and ship to Basic Training on September 1,2009. I recently graduated from high school and now am getting ready to start my pursuit on a full time position as a firefighter. I love anything outdoors, dancing, riding my horse, and kicking it with friends(poker night is my absolute favorite). I am about to move into my own place and am definitely looking forward to that.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Initially just as something to do throughout high school. Now I do it because I love to help people and I love the enviroment of the fire service.

I found out today that I passed all of my tests and am now certified through the national registry as an EMT-Basic!!
