Why I Joined Fire/EMS

In high school, my youngest sister had a very violent seizure and had no prior history of seizures. I was on the phone with dispatch and had to tend to my sister. I kept my calm even though I had no idea what I was doing. When Fire arrived they had said that I did a good job staying calm and keeping her from hurting herself. That gave me the confidence to go into the field.
