Guess I should have recognized it ... Nouvelle Ecosse! That must have been an incredible experience!! I will admit, smoke jumpers always make me want to give them sanity tests!! Guts doesn't even begin to describe what it takes to jump from a chopper much less into a raging fire!! I thought my buddies in the Night Stalkers (Rangers at 101st Airborne) were nuts until I spoke to some jumpers from western wildfire teams. You folks beat the Stalkers hands-down for crazy!! LOL!!
We lived in Quebec (Montreal) for a few years before coming back to the States. Must admit, right now the Laurentians sound pretty good!! St. Agathe was nice and cool!!
