My paid job is making contact lenses at a manufacturing plant. They are so afraid of OSHA we are limitied in regards to what we can & cannot do at the facility. My "for free" job is where all of the danger & excitement come from, and that is as a volunteer firefighter for CCFR. This makes night #4 in a row of making contacts, can't wait to get back on the truck tomm night. I'll start to hunt down a few station patches tomm night and I will look throught he navy patches and see what I have left. been out of the active duty navy for almost 10 years now, hard to believe. Enjoy the evening my friend

Daniel,
Most of the work we do is light weight. It's so overcompicated towards safety. If it did nto pay as well as it does I would have taken a job turning wrenches on aircraft. I'll work on tracking down some additional station patches. Also have some patches from the days in the navy. Headed back into work for day/night #4. Take it easy up there
Chris
Daniel,
Thanks for the update and the prompt mailing. We have a few different station patches here. I just need to swing by and get some. Let me know if there is a interest in any more patches from sunny Fla. Working the 6p-6a tonight & tomm, hard to get hurt at work. Too many safeguard = not alot of excitement, but I am not complaining. Will get my fill of the fire truck Monday & Tuesday nights. Stay safe up there
Chris
Daniel,
Not that I am doubting you, but if I had my choice it would be Labatts Blue. I will get a patch in the mail to you first thing in the morning. I work the 6p-6a shifts as well. Thanks for the approval on the pics. Looking to upgrade my camera this next week so hopefully the pics will get better as well. Take it easy up there
Chris
Daniel,
I can spare a patch to trade. Send me your mailing address and I will get it in the mail Saturday morning before the post office closes. My address is

Spent a few nice weeks in Nova Scotia when I was in the US Navy. Would love to get back up there someday. Learned that Labatts blue is a awesome beer, and I learned to drive aircraft tow tractors in the snow. Stay safe, headed into work for a long night shift at my paid job
