I just had a closer look at your lid, it l;ooks like a modern one which probably is Kevlar - I thought earlier that it was a leather one!
I always try to be funny when our Yank friends talk about their helmets. They get so serious, tradition ofcourse. Our traditional helmet was made from brass! No way would I want to wear one of those things! I just wear what I'm given - no choice about that anyway... Our all-career neighbours are trialing the jet-helmet style. I've only spoken with one of the people with one, and all he did was ask me if I'd like to swap helmets with him - he hated it.
Phew! You had me worried for a moment there Hugo! I can clearly remember my ex-wifes family laughing at me for my pronunciation when I was trying to learn their native language - German. That hurt, there was me trying to better myself and learn their language and they laughed! The worst part was, I was learning 'high German', the official language and they spoke a mixture of three dialects. Nice people in many ways, but ignorant in others.
With helmets, I've always thought that our Kevlar ones are heavy. Then I read where people in North America say that their 'traditional' helmets are even heavier! Does your helmet have a Kevlar liner?
PS, I'm not having a go at you, your English is very good (I can't speak a single word in Portugese...), I just want to help. The word is 'helmet', not 'helment'.
Nice photos. Looks strange to me to see European style vehicles with North American style 'shields' on your helmets! And you also use the North American style cross for your badge? Nothing wrong with any of that, I just find it interesting!

My helmet is shown in my photo area. With the only thing we're allowed to attach to them, the torch.
