Hey Brenda!
You and Joe are in my prayers. You all be safe and make sure to stay that way.... OK... I am not sure if we are going to see any large rain from after it or not...
I like most things in these parts except the hot wet weather. It's quite a contrast to living near the beaches of SoCal where I lived for more then 50 years. The people here are much more cordial and sincere. Being on the VFD makes this relocation worthwhile.
Pray for a silent pager, be careful and have a great holiday.
wow Brenda
I feel bad. I have been kicking it at the house pretty much all day. I am about to read a few chapters in my Arson book, other than that I am taking it easy today. Wow you have been so busy. I am on tomorrow but off both Sunday and Labor Day (Monday) Yay, I wont be on the road with all the drunks out here. Hope your weekend is safe out there. God Bless and Never Forget. Tell Joe I said Hi
Since moving to east Texas I have noticed a lot of drivers go way too fast for the conditions on these rural roads and seem to be oblivious to pending danger. I guess that's why we're here.
Thanks Brenda, I look forward to making some new contacts.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but
By the moments that take our breath away.
I just wanted to drop a note and say hi and see how your doing. I am now back in school again and taking Fire and Arson Investigations for the next 32 weeks. Wow...I am also taking Fire protection systems besides that. LOL and I thought I was starting to get a life....Not. Hope all is well. I better run I have some reading to do now...
Chris Rhoades, who is on my FD, works for the Forest Service/Fire A &M in Pittsburg and is also an instructor too like your husband. Thought they might know each other. Sorry I wasn't very clear.

Your husband must work with or know Chris Rhoades, my Chief's brother. Heck everyone must know the Rhoades, they were here before the Alamo.

Thanks for the welcome.
Was on scene with your department during the hay barn fire on FM1448 a few weeks ago. Thanks for the help.
