It was easy to understand what you were saying. People just let your post in through their eyes but let it bypass the brain! I must admit, I've done that at times - but I get embarrased when I do...

Hey Chief,

Thanks for the add. Love to chat sometime about training. We travel all over and the Managing the Mayday for Incident Command - Strategic Considerations is a good one. Alot of people doing the RIT class but not much attention on training the officer's or command staff.

not to be overly anal, But You said you enjoy the sound of pipe playing... Proper english would be... YOu enjoy either "The Pipes" or The Pipes being played, or Pipe Music... I guess it helps get rid of confusion of foklks who bang on H20 copper piping :) Like on "Tool TIme" lol Not sure, other then you know the folks on "that side of the pond" are quirky about terminology and language and since the traditions come from them... we tend to adhere to them as well.. I took them up back in 1990, needless to say the "whole thing has grown a little bit sincethose days, but Fire service groups have been the most amazing group of all..the groups in here (3) areall pretty slow,..but whoknows might take off someday...lol

Asst 29. welcome to the FFN. Your comment is very true. As you can tell I step on toes, but aimed at constructive criticism. I also expect the same if I make a comment or statement that might not be exactly true or accurate.

Again welcome to the FFN. Stop over at the group Firefighter saloon.
