One Christmas in a small candy shop a candy maker decided he would share the story of Jesus with a special candy. This candy would symbolize the birth, life and death of Jesus Christ. To represent the Virgin birth, and the sinless nature of Jesus he used a solid white candy. This candy was a solid candy to represent the solid rock of God. The shape of this candy was easy to decide, he shaped this candy into the letter "J". This of course, represented Jesus. Jesus is often referred to as the Good Shephard, using his rod and staff to keep the flock from going a stray. This candy is shaped to represent the rod. The blood of Jesus that he shed on the cross, are represented with the three red stripes. The candy cane is one of the most popular Christmas treats all around the world. Every time you see a candy cane, I want you to stop and remember the candy maker. A small act of faith can produce a large impact on the lives of people around you.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Holiday Season. Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year.
