She's finally here

I would like to announce the birth of my first child. On wednsday 12/17/08, Paityn Corinne Bates arrived at 6:34 pm , she is a perfectly healthy little girl weighing 7lbs 15 oz. and measuring 19 1/2 inches.she is absolutely beautiful, and her mother and I are so happy to have her. She was due on the 8th but wanted to be fashionably late, she really had her heels dug in and mommy had to be induced. If anyone has ever had to be a part of an induction they know that they go one of two ways; bad and really bad. Mommy had a hard labor and due to the lack of progress she ended up having a c-section. She is now resting comfortably and Daddy is, happily, taking care of both of them.
Many people try to explain what it's like to see your child come into the world. you won't understand until it's your own. I've never been happier, or this tired for that matter, in my life. It is absolutely worth it, i love to hold her and don't want to put her down. That's why it's taken so long to post this. Anyway thanks to those who instilled courage for the nervous father to be. And you are all right, care and love for your child comes effortlessly, Thank you, and Merry Christmas.

Do they ever grow up fast. Paityn shares her birthday with my daughter Kaitelyn. My baby turned 18 though.

Congratulations, she looks beautiful. I know everyone says it but enjoy her while you can they really do grow up too fast.
