1.5; 1.75, 2" lines all have different FR, Nozzles??? do you have 50PSI @ the tip, 75PSI @ the tip or 100 PSI @ the tip. (All of which are different and cause for different DP)

Most departments that use a p-touch label maker on the discharge gate, have trained the drivers to be lever pullers. If you add/subtract a length, or reduce down, or run multiple appliances that is the difference between an engineer and a driver.

Sorry Paul but not to be a dickhead but it depends on your set-up and in your example not even close for us. For example OUR 200' preconnects with fog nozzle flow 175GPM with only 143psi DP now flow them at 190??? Tell the boys to "Hold on cowboy"

I understand that this is a difficult question to answer especially since we are all from different areas and use different equipment but I really appreciate you boys tryin' to help me out. Thanks for your input. Stay safe and have fun!!

It can be easier if you become familiar with the equipment on your Apparatus...FL differs with each and every type of equipment out there..but as a rule of thumb what I gave you is pretty darn close...Paul

Of if it were only that easy. With all the different lengths of hose, (not to mention the co-efficient of FR for different manufacturer's hose) the different fittings, adapters, and various nozzles will get the lever puller everytime....

Here's a tip: EVOC driver operator class, then Pumps 1 and 2.

what gallonage and lengths are your preconnects..?? If you want to run 150 gpm and you have 200 feet of hose out then you would run at about 190 psi....for 125 gpm I believe that 135-140 psi would be very close...also depends on what nozzle you are using...all the new poop states run a smooth bore...you get more wet for your pressure and you don't beat up your attack team i the process...Take a pump-ops class and you will learn all about hydrodynamics...Stay safe...keep the faith....Paul
