The Social Network & Community JUST for Firefighters
Hello all!
hey there, im new to this site, so i just wanted to say hello to all, and introduce myself to the community.
My name is David
I am 18, and i live in houston texas
i am not a firefighter yet, however, i am working on becoming one. i have wanted to become a firefigher since i was like 8, and that has not changed. most of all, the main reason i want to become a firefighter, is to help people, have always felt that way. anways, in november, i will go to a orientation at the HCC Fire Training Academy, which, hopefully, i will be on my way to enroll for night classes at the HCC FTA, which, if i do get in, it will take me around 10 months before i get certified as a firefighter, then next, will be my emt, which, might be around another 4 months of training.
Anyways, hope i didnt bore you. hope to see you guys around!

A finer occupation you won't find and the rewards will be what keeps you going through all the misery you will face. Trust me when I say the good moments will be what you remember and will get you through the bad times . As you begin your career understand this" you can't take out of a paper bag what you don't put in ". So give it your all , 100% , and stay safe .

Streetking, You keep going brother, and you will do just fine ! It's you attitude that will get you through it. Remember get yourself physically fit,eat the right foods, and get plenty of rest before you enter the academy.
