2 minutes lol beat my time of wait I cant remember was that with gear and scba or just gear well im at 35sec for gear and 1min 5 sec for both prolly cant do it that fast right now but thats my record. now practice hookin up to a stand pipe blindfolded with a y then an 1 1/4 hook a nozzel to it its great practice for when you really cant seeeeeeeeeeeee

So a Chapter Has Closed, yet another one is starting

Hey guys,

Just thought id give you guys an update. Many of you know i was in a College course to become a state certified firefighter. Well, last tuesday, i took my state exam for firefighting, and as of friday, i passed, made an 86 overall, and passed all 4 sections, including HazMat. so having that done, the next part is to become EMT-Basic certified. i have a CPR course in December, and then EMT-Basic school starts in january. i am incredibly amazed how far ive come since i first… Continue

hey guys, just thought id post a little on my progress as far as my fire training academy is concerned. just earlier this evening,i took my last major exam of the program. dont have the grade on it, should have it on wednesday, but i think it went pretty well. in a little over three week, we will have our final exam, which will cover all of the second semester studies. on saturday, we had our first live fire training burn, which was really awesome, we really didnt do that much, but it was… Continue

hey guys, just thought id give you guys an update on my fire training progress. just recently completed my first semester, did pretty well, made a 92 on my midterm exam, and had a 90 average over the first semester. on my PT test, which was about a month ago, i scored a 99.25 on it. i am still having an amazing time, and learning so much about this, the more i learn, the more i love it, and the more i want to study and listen to every word being spoken by instructors.

Its all up to me now, whether i fail or succeed

well, today i picked up up my PPE gear, and last week, i registered for college, now i am totally ready for Firefighter training, i have everything necessary to begin. Unfortunately, i lost my job last friday, but i am determined to find another one, and even tho it was tough to get let go from my job, i am still unbelievably happy, and thats because my lifelong dream of becoming a Firefighter is beginning its journey very soon, in fact less than a week!
