John I think you are sort of like me .. WHen trouble happen I try to take it on and fix the problem..For one They both were adult when the decided to have this baby without protection,Two I'm sure he was cheating right from the beginning.. John he is the father of this baby make him anti up and take care of it. Put the pressure.. Has she gone to child support yet ,custody all that good stuff. If not get her over there right away.. Next social services is the next step.. They will get her set up in a place and help her till she can get on her own.. You still can help,but should not bear all the weight..Because this is now a grandbaby.... At 18 your step son needs to be put on the line for taking care of his son... So march her right down to social services for custody and child support..... Put a little pressure back onto him.. Once he start all this court stuff which is no fun at all.. Kinda puts a damper on life when you have a judge get after you and tell you to get a job and grow up... Good luck my friend .. Try stopping being the hero I tried it ended up with a big ulcer.. Grown ups they are.. So they thought when they had the baby..

Feel for you brother, good luck with your family. Must be nice to be 18 and know everthing.
