Last night while on Medic shift it was our Dept. bi-weekly fire training night and it was on Ice Rescue. The training was excellent, with some of the techniques for donning the "gumby suit" and attempting a rescue as well as a self rescue if we were to get trapped while saving someone. An excellent night indeed, althoough very cold. As for medic calls it was a pretty slow night, thank God, counting yesterday and last night I am up to 6 Hrs for the 2 day period for sleep, maybe I will get more tonight, all depends on what goes on in the Twp.
