Hilton Firefighter responded this morning for the report of a 3 car MVA head at Bennett Rd & Curtis Rd. Hilton 268, Engine 263, Ambulance 2619 and 2629 all responded. First arriving unit Chief 2c36 was on-location and reported a 3 car MVA head on with injuries. Hilton Dispatcher advised that Monroe Ambulance had 1 ALS Bus on the way and asked if a 2nd ALS rig was needed. 2c36 later requested a 2nd ALS Ambulance to respond. Several Patients were evaluated and transported to area Hospitals. The scene was turned over to the Sheriffs Department and the accident is under investigation.

Shortly after the MVA Hilton firefighters were dispatched for a second Ambulance call in their Fire District. Due to having their 2 Ambulance out of service for the MVA Monroe Ambulance covered the call. Again Hilton was toned out for another Priority 1 Medical alarm and Monroe covered the call and Hilton 267 Responded EMS.

A short time later Hilton Firefighters were dispatched to Hilton Parma Town Line Rd for the CO detector activated with no reported illness. Hilton 262 Responded along with Chief 2c36. 2C36 place the fire assignment back in-service after installing a working CO detector.

Approximately 40 minutes later Hilton Firefighter were Dispatched for the report of a plastic bucket on fire at Dock Siders on Manitou Rd. Hilton Engine 262, Utility Truck 267 and Chief 2c36 and 2c16 Responded. First arriving units report the fire was out and requested Greece Police to the scene. Command turned the scene over to GPD and placed the assignment back in-service.

Hilton Firefighter responded this evening for the report of a Brush fire at 147 Bennett Rd. Hilton’s utility truck 267 responded on the initial alarm with 5 Firefighter. Hilton Chief 2c16 called on-location with a large brush fire close to a structure and requested the balance of the assignment. Hilton 267 was instructed to stay at the driveway and have their manpower to report to command for assignments. Hilton firefighters quickly stopped the fire before any damage was cause to the surrounding structures. 2c16 requested Monroe County deputies to the scene for a problem with a neighbor. A short time later 2c16 placed the assignment back in-service. Hilton 267 was back in-service about 1 hour later.

A few minutes after returning from the brush fire Hilton firefighters were dispatched to 518 Burrett rd for the report of a large bon fire. Hilton 267 and Engine 263 responded with 5 firefighters. Hilton 2c66 called on-location and reported the fire was a ways off the road and to have 267 stage on the road. Firefighters extinguished the fire and the assignment was placed back in-service.
