There's still time to purchase your ticket for our upcoming webinar on January 23rd at 6:30/1830 ET. Just use the link or the QR code on the flyer below.
Tix are $20 and net proceeds benefit the 5-Alarm Task Force Corp., Foundation account. Why do we charge for our webinars? These funds have one purpose and one purpose only - to help our Brothers or Sisters and/or their families in dire need.
An example? Of the more than $6,000.00 that we have donated to date, approximately 95% has gone to the family members of more than five Brothers who made the Ultimate Sacrifice. Yes, there are regional, state and federal benefits for an LODD, but the red tape takes time! We work to get a few hundred dollars to the family ASAP, to help them during this trying and tragic time.
Additionally, every webinar to we host is to inform and educate each attendee of the topic of choice. This webinar is to help YOU with some of our most difficult issues we face, whether we're career, volunteer or WUI, such as, sleep deprivation, forced overtime, stress and personal resilience. We have lined up two excellent presenters, Chief (ret) Arjuna George and Ms. Andi Clark, who not just talk about these issues, but have faced them themselves and with their families and now thrive thanks to what they learned on their own journeys.
PLEASE - If were are indeed a "family," then it is incumbent upon us to help each other. The late Chief Alan Brunacini taught us that it is our sworn duty to take of "Mrs. Smith" on her worst day and we do that. However, let's not forget to take care of ourselves so that we can indeed assist Mrs. Smith.
We'll have six great door prizes that will be awarded at the conclusion of the webinar. As long as you purchase a ticket, you will be entered into the drawings. You DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT! If your name is drawn and you're not online, we will contact you via email and make arrangements to award your your prize.
We hope to see you with us on January 23rd at 6:30 PM/1830 HRS ET. Stay Safe & Stay Well.
