Did you know that it is CPR/AED Awareness Week? I didn't.

I don't care if your title is PIO, EMT, CFR or PEON - take advantage of this opportunity to bring the importance of CPR training and public access AEDs to the forefront of your community. It's not too late.

Right on the heels of EMS Week, ride the coat tails and write something up that starts with: "This culminates CPR/AED Week..."

Here's a quick article from EMSresponder.com that will help you fill in the blanks for the rest of the story.

It's as easy as cut - and - paste. Don't hesitate. Do it now and reap the benefits of improved public awareness.

Heck, you never know. You could promote this just in time to save a life.

You are so right and in my department we are constantly doing CPR classes. All the schools in our district have AEDs and all the churches as well. Both the Village and Town Halls have them and I believe the bank does also.

We have pushed this in our area greatly with much success. We are looking into holding a CPR Day like we use too. I think it is a skill that everyone should know.
