Firefighter Rolled Steak















6 (6-oz) pieces sandwich steak, cut thin
1/2 lb sliced salami
1/2 lb sliced provolone cheese
2 cups bread crumbs

Sauce
2 oz butter
1 cup cream
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
16 oz marinara sauce





1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Layer on the steak 3 pieces salami, 2 pieces provolone and a generous amount of bread crumbs.

2. Roll the steak and tuck in the sides.

3. Place rolls in a baking pan, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Sauce
1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add cream and cheese. Let simmer. Allow cheese to melt into cream.

3. Add marinara.

4. Season with salt and pepper if needed. Serve over steak.

Sounds great!!! That would be KILLER on a grinder/hoagie/sub/(whatever the hell you call them in your neck of the woods) and served with sweet potato fries!!!

Sounds good. Do you serve with any special sides, or just the common potatoes or veggies?
