WOW!! You came back for part two of my story, THANK YOU!!! Okay, the 31st I went to Wal-Mart and saw some Santa Figurines with sports theme, there was one in the back that had a checked flag around the bottom of his coat and I thought it was for racing, so I picked it up thinking Johnathon would like it, he likes racing stuff, and guess what??? I got it turned it over and on the back of the coat said EMT. I about fainted right there; all the other Santa was holding baseballs, basketballs ,etc. and that one said EMT!?! Now if thats not a sign from the MAN upstairs I don't know what is. Of course I bought it got home and started a long search on what to do next. Firefighters and Police officers have always been friends of our family and in our family, but, no one wanted to help me in fear of upsetting Billy. Finally, I got in touch with an instructor at Vol State. On January the 10th (make your dreams come true day, who knew?) I enrolled at Vol State, in the Fire Science Technology classes, the EMT classes are not available until fall and they said that since Metro (which is where I want to go) house all their ambulances at the fire station these classes couldn't hurt. And there is only 16 seats in the EMT classes and students of Vol State get first choice, so here I am. I have also volunteer at the Rutherford County Volunteer Fire Dept. 2007 was such a eye opening year; I use to think that all that happened was a curse, just terrible luck, I lost friends of 13yrs and more that year, I saw how people truly are, and I realized at the age of 40 that I had twice given my heart and 110% of myself to two men, and I still was not good enough, it still wasn't enough. But, I know now that 07 was a blessing, I had to go through that to get here, those experience got me stronger, my priorities straight, and the main thing closer to GOD. I know now to give my heart and all of myself to HIM. HE and my son are the only thing I can count on to be 100% true. SO, now at the good ole age of 41 (today is my b-day) I am staring over; I work a full time job in the day, with people that support me and what I am doing, making new friends, go to classes at night, and thank GOD everyday for giving me my son and strength. And, yes, I have now idea what I am doing..lol...lol... I do know now what SCUBA without the U is, thanks Tim, So if I ask you guys a silly question or have no idea what you are trying to say, please be patient with me all of this is new to me, a New Day!!!
