It never ceases to amaze me that almost every day Billy Goldfeder has to post to the secret list another FF fatality or serious injury. Our job is dangerous, risky and what we do. I honestly thought that by this point in my Emergency Service career we would have made a difference in reducing the loss of life and critical injuries we suffer. I am continiually amazed that parts of our American Fire Service still don't have 2 in 2 out, RIT, or even wear seatbelts. I truely wish that we could get on the same page and make that difference. I will continue to my part in teaching and functioning to the best of my ability.
