Eat the Sandwich and You MUST Pay for It

A 66-year-old Florida woman named Maryanne decided to go to jail rather than pay her bill at Waffle House. How much was the tab? Seven dollars and 45 cents. According to police, Maryanne ordered a sandwich and coffee, ate and drank it, but then refused to pay the bill. The restaurant called the cops, they got there and told Maryanne to pay up. She still refused, so she was arrested. If convicted of the second degree misdemeanor, she could face up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine. Apparently Maryanne doesn’t understand the whole “pay for food” concept for some reason.

If convicted she gets 3 hots and a cot for 60 days. And she might not have the money to pay the fine, so it might mean more time. So who wins.
