Okay so before I had a 96 Chevy S-10 with just a dual head revolving mini light bar sitting on the roof. It was pretty wimpy. I just went out and bought a new Dodge Ram. I cant imagine disgracing it with just that tiny lightbar. Im looking to get a sweet dashlight (preferably actually something to go behing my rearview mirror) some grill lights, and something to go on the rear too. I already planned to put LED's in my fourway flashers but I'm just looking for any suggestions on what you guys have and like. I'm looking to spend about $1,000 on everything when all said and done

Oh and yes, be sure to check your state & local ordinances =]

These suggestions are all good, Dustin. Definitely need *effective* 360-degree visibility. If your budget allows, get strobes for somewhere on your front quarter panels (i.e. above wheel wells) too; this allows for higher visibility to cross traffic when approaching intersections.

I have an 06 ram quad cab 4x4 I have a visor light on my right sun visor. A lightbar mounted with suction cups in the backglass. Both bars I made myself black piece of metal 8 white strobes in random flash patterns 2 red led sticks 2 white led sticks. I have just bought hide-a-ways 2 in the front turnsignal and 2 for the backup lights. Hope that helped some. On a side note if someone post a question and you dont have anything related dont bother typing anything.

Try running without a light, bet ya don't get there a whole lot slower than you did with the light.

Thanks for the help so far guys, but i already have a bailout rope and webbing on my gear, wedges on my helmet, a really nice flashlight as well and some brand new Globe leather boots. I really just want some feedback on what people have as far as lights, what they like about them and what they dont like

First,,,check what the state and local laws are. Here in Michigan all vehicles are required to have at least one revolving red lite, visible at 360 degrees. Other than that, it is pretty much what you want and how much you can afford to spend.
